Welcome to our next traditional installment of the podcast! We stepped away from the studio show experience while in Las Vegas for NBA Summer League to catch up with Overtime Elite General Manager & Head of Basketball Damien Wilkins. During his time in charge of the growing program, there have been more players drafted in the top ten of the NBA draft than any other program. This year, two alumni, Alex Sarr and Rob Dillingham were taken in the first ten of the draft, while Tyler Smith was taken 33rd overall. During this one-on-one, host Aaron Washington gets Damien’s thoughts on what stood out about the three elite athletes when they first stepped into the OTE world, how they grew their games while in their development program, and how they could contribute to their new NBA teams during year one and beyond.
